Russia plans no grain intervention fund purchases in 2023
MOSCOW, May 29 (PRIME) -- The Agriculture Ministry has no plans to raise the grain intervention fund in 2023 by purchasing grain, Minister Dmitry Patrushev said on Monday.
"We bought three (million tonnes in 2022)… We’ll see what happens but we have no plans so far," Patrushev said.
Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Abramchenko said at the end of March that the government was considering more than tripling the fund to 10 million tonnes of grain.
